Jessy's forte is teaching riders how to feel the connection with their equine partner in order to bring about the best possible performance in the show ring.  She instills in her students the ideals that success is best obtained through the combination of dedication, consistency and correct position.  She has the innate ability to teach all levels from young riders to those still "young at heart".

While utilizing a common-sense approach aimed at the rider's individual skill level, Jessy's use of positive reinforcement to achieve goals using the balanced seat technique results in a tailored program that benefits riders of all skill levels, from the walk/trot ring to Pony Finals and Indoors.

Originally from Easton, PA, Jessy Hageter Winfield moved to the Charlotte area in 1983.  Through her dedication and love of the sport, she became a well-known junior rider in the AHSA Zone 3 A rated competitions.   Specializing in equitation as well as excelling in the hunter ring led to opportunities as a catch rider, coach, barn manager and trainer.

Jessy combines 22 years of experience with a true passion for total horsemanship, which results in the ability to bring

 out the best in riders of all ages.
